Shuukan Idol – Juice Tour Edition

In this week’s Shuukan Idol we get another wave of graduations from the AKB group. Thankfully, not everything is sadness since we also get a fair share of new MVs to enjoy and even a few big announcements from Juice=Juice.

When it rains it pours. AKB48 is well known for their massive amount of members, but they’re also known for their massive amount of graduations. Thankfully, it seems like many members have plans on what they would like to do once they leave. We wish them all the best!

> Juice=Juice are going on a world tour

Juice=Juice have been hard at work releasing catchy singles, performing at Nippon Budokan, and generally being an incredible idol group. With many fans around the world, it’s only natural to see that a world tour has been announced. More details are available at the post above, congrats Juice=Juice!

> Keyakizaka46’s Imaizumi Yui goes on hiatus

Imaizumi Yui is a talented girl, but unfortunately idols are humans and even they fall ill. Not many details are known about what she has, but check out the post above for more details. Get well soon Yui!

If you needed a reason to check out Juice=Juice at their world tour, how about a new MV? Packed full of fun lyrics, catchy instrumentals, and a random festival scene, it has everything it needs to become one of their greatest releases yet!

> Bitter & Sweet release sweet, not bitter details about their major debut single

While they might be a bit unknown to many, Bitter & Sweet have been making a name for themselves with their catchy ballads. Thankfully, the time has come for more information about their long awaited major debut. Full details are available at the link above!

> UP UP GIRLS fulfill every wota’s fantasy in the MV for Upper Disco

What happens when you spy on a group of 12 idols at an onsen? You get a full choreographed performance of course. While the kid in the video is probably living out every wota’s dream and is definitely a major perv, we do get a fairly fun release from UP UP GIRLS in return. Check out the MV above!

Encore

It has been a while since we last heard of notall, thankfully the time has come for a new release. In fact, this one is fairly monumental since it’s their 1st major single titled Capybara Jisoku 50km / Kimi ni DA-DA-DAN.

Out April 19th, this single is packed full with fun and catchy lines that are sure to please fans of the more traditional sound of idols. In this MV, we get to see the members of notall as they make their way through town, singing happily towards the camera.

It wouldn’t be an idol MV without a few close-up shots of them having fun, which we get to enjoy. It might be a bit on the calm side for some, but it’s a great release for notall who are finally getting a chance to shine. Check out the MV below!
