Kobushi Factory “Osu! Kobushi Tamashii” MV Released

Kobushi Factory Osu Kobushi Tamashii MV

The MV for Kobushi Factory’s single titled Osu! Kobushi Tamashii has been released.

Releasing on February 17 alongside the main track the single will also feature 2 other a-sides titled Sakura Night Fever as well as Chotto Guchoku ni! Chototsu Moushin.

The theme for the song is competition with the members facing off against each other as they pose as Yankees. With a fun beat to the song it seems like a fun song to listen to and show off the group and just how good they are at adapting to any genre.

Well worth a look for those looking for some colorful rivalry alongside some catchy beats!

The covers for LovendoЯ’s upcoming single titled Takaramono / Itsuwari have been released.

Ever since my short hiatus from Hello! Project I have been wanting to find out more about Reina’s group and it’s great to see that they have a solid following with a steady stream of releases for fans to enjoy.

Sure, there isn’t much info on the songs but I am loving the covers since they have a calm feeling to them, with the Regular B showing off a more adult and dramatic look for the group.

Of course, we should be getting previews for this group’s single soon so it will be a nice treat for everyone to enjoy as they kick off the year with a single.

Morning Musume 16’s Suzuki Kanon Announces Graduation

Morning Musume Suzuki Kanon

Morning Musume 16‘s Suzuki Kanon has announced her graduation from the group.

She will be graduating from the group at the end of the group’s Spring tour. According to the notice her decision came as a result of her wanting to work in something related to welfare.

This notice definitely took me by surprise since Suzuki Kanon always seemed like the bubbly idol that would be part of the group for many years to come. Of course, she is among my favorites so it’s certainly a sad notice (seeing the tweet was heartbreaking), but thankfully it seems like she plans to help work and help others after her graduation.

According to her letter, she has been thinking about her future since last year. The Satoyama movement the group was in was something she enjoyed since her contact with people and making them smile convinced her to help do the same to those in need.

Seeing her grow with the group since she first auditioned until her graduation is definitely interesting since we got to see her mature as a member of the group. From developing her position as the funny member of the group to showing off her talented voice, she will always be among the group’s most iconic members.

She made us fans smile and now she will be making everyone smile so thank you Suzuki Kanon and best of luck!

Sayashi Riho To Release Autobiography

Sayashi Riho

Former 9th generation Morning Musume member Sayashi Riho has announced the release of an autobiography titled 17sai no Ketsudan.

The book will talk about her life, her love of dance when she was 6, as well as her experience as a member of being part of Morning Musume until her graduation.

There will be photos of her graduation that aren’t available anywhere else as well as an interview alongside other photos from her career.

The announcement of her graduation was indeed a surprising one, but most idols usually don’t write books shortly after chronicling their lives so it is certainly a surprise to see her doing this.

Of course it’s a nice opportunity for fans to check it out and see just how her life is like and it seems like we’re in for a treat since she is among the most unique members in recent times.

Well worth getting for fans of Morning Musume!

ANGERME Announce New Single

ANGERME

ANGERME has announced the release of a new, currently untitled, single.

Releasing on April 27, there will be 6 editions: 4 limited editions with DVDs and 2 regular versions. This will be the last single for Tamura Meimi, who recently announced her graduation, as well as Kamikokuryo Moe’s 1st single since her addition.

This was announced by Wada Ayaka, the leader of the group, and confirmed later on by Hello! Project so it’s good to see that they are going strong.

Time will tell how this single turns out but we should find out more in the coming months.

Kobushi Factory “Chotto Guchoku ni! Chototsu Moshin” MV Released

Kobushi Factory Chotto Guchoku

The MV for Kobushi Factory’s Chotto Guchoku ni! Chototsu Moshin.

The release date is set for February 17, and while the single might be in the running for the longest single title with it being a triple a-side and all it seems like we are in for an amazing time.

The covers were released recently and from them we got an interesting look at the themes they have planned but sadly no actual previews were released.

Thankfully the wait is over!

With a funky beat that has become commonplace for idol groups it seems like the single has quite a solid beat to it. The sound has a tiger growl and the members do an amazing job of singing to match the style.

The white wall that the members run through is interesting since it seems a bit out of place, but I am liking the interesting look.

Definitely an interesting release so make sure to check out the MV!

Kobushi Factory “Sakura Night Fever” Covers Released

Kobushi Factory Sakura Night Fever Regular A Cover
Regular A

Kobushi Factory have released the covers for their upcoming single titled Sakura Night Fever / Chotto Guchoku ni! Chototsu Moushin / Osu! Kobushi Tamashii.

The single will be released on February 17 in 6 editions: 3 Regular editions and 3 Limited editions which will feature a bonus DVD. The song Sakura Night Fever will be a cover of the song from the group KAN.

With the group slowly but surely climbing up the ranks as one of Hello! Project’s most interesting groups it seems like we’re in with yet another impressive single.

Covers are common so in a way it’s not surprising to see their take on the classic KAN song, and while we might not have much to go based off in terms of preview it’s a nice challenge for the group.

Of course the covers show off a variety of themes and I have to say they are all quite solid. From the Looney Tunes-esque Limited C to the more relaxed and pixelated Regular A cover, we have a variety of covers to choose from.

Personally I’m a lover of all things pixelated so I strongly love the Regular A alongside the Regular B due to the Morning Musume Kimagure Princess vibe it gives off.

Definitely check out the covers and get that copy in since this will be among the most waited singles for the group!

Bitter & Sweet “Hallelujah” MV Released

Bitter Sweet Hallelujah MV

Bitter & Sweet have released the MV for their song titled Hallelujah.

Released December 23rd and part of their album titled #bitasui, this single didn’t get much love since the group is not that well known yet. Having just formed back in 2013 as part of Up Front, this duo has been quite active with a solid mix of songs for fans to enjoy.

Regardless of their popularity, they do have some solid releases and this one is the highlight. With an upbeat sound mixed in with scenes of Asahi and Moemi walking around town with some bright, sunny scenes it results in a visually impressive MV.

Will it re imagine the very existence of J-pop? Will this song cause peace on earth? No, but it’s still a solid song that fans should check out with a beat perfect to listen and begin your day.

Juice=Juice’s Kanazawa Tomoko Has Endometriosis

Juice=Juice Kanazawa Tomoko

It has been confirmed that Juice=Juice’s Kanazawa Tomoko has been diagnosed with endometriosis.

This condition where tissue that should be growing in the inside of the uterus grows on the outside instead. This usually results in pelvic pain and sometimes infertility.

As a result, events will be adapted to her condition and her healthy will be held at priority before anything else. She did release a statement about it on her blog:

I, Kanazawa Tomoko, have been going to the hospital since the end of last year to be checked-up by the doctors、 but the result of the latest medical examination was that I have been diagnosed with 「endometriosis」。

I apologize for causing you concern with this sudden announcement。

When I first found out about this illness、 I felt extremely uneasy。 But currently、 I strongly feel that I don’t want to give up halfway on our dreams, with the group in the midst of our nationwide 220 performance tour which will lead up to our group’s goal of having our own performance at the Nippon Budokan、 so as I go face-to-face with my illness from now on、 I intend to be positive and continue on with activities。

If this condition sounds somewhat familiar it might be due to Matsuura Aya announcing the same condition back in 2011. One thing to note is that this affects everyone differently. Some women get more symptoms and others do not, but it’s good to see that they are treating her condition with the utmost care.

For now it’s hard to see just how this will affect her work as an idol, but please keep supporting her as she works to adapt around this condition.
