HKT48 have released a pair of MVs for tracks from their 8th single titled Saikou Ka yo.
Out September 7th, the single will be available in 3 editions: Type A, B, and C as well as a theater version.

HKT48’s Team H captain Anai Chihiro announced that she would be graduating from the group.

HKT48 have released the MVs for their upcoming single titled 74 Okubun no 1 no Kimi he.
Releasing April 13, the single will be available in 3 CD/DVD versions alongside a Theater version. The coupling songs for all versions is titled Chain of Love.
The assortment of videos provides a chance to showcase the talents of each member well. From the passionate ballad style of Taboo no Iro,, to the more playful, rock sound of HKT-jo, Ima, Ugoku that is sure to have fans happy due to the variety of songs there are.
Likewise, Einstein Yori Dianna Agron has a similar ballad style to it but in a more ballad style that fits the idol style that we have come to expect of the group.
Of course the main track is the one that sets the tone of the single and thankfully 74 Okubun no 1 no Kimi he is as solid as possible with a light Spring feel that is sure to have you singing along. The visuals are impressive, with a festival tone and look with hundreds of people to celebrate the happiness of love.
MAke sure to check out all of the MVs since they are all impressive!

HKT48 announced that they will be forming a new team titled Team TII.
This was announced at their HKT48 Haru no Live Tour ~Sashiko do Soliel 2016~ performance. Members for the group were also announced, with the announcement being a surprise for them:
While the announcement was a surprise for the members, I am excited for this news since it means that we will be getting even more songs and the members who were selected will finally get a chance to stand in the spotlight.
More details such as their debut single haven’t been released, but we should find out in the coming months. Congrats to everyone in Team TII!

HKT48’s Okada Kanna has announced that she will be graduating from the group.
Announced at a recent performance, she mentioned that her reason for leaving is based on her wanting to study medicine. She will be leaving the group with her final concert being on March 22.
Studying is a big reason why many idols leave the scene, but it seems like Kanna has big plans for herself. While she might not be performing alongside the group it is a noble goal to pursue medicine, since it is well known for being amongst the hardest subjects to study.
Best of luck Kanna!

HKT48 have released the MV for their song titled Make noise.
Part of AKB48’s upcoming single titled Kimi wa Melody out March 9th, this is certainly my favorite song so far from this single (sorry SKE48)!
With a nice EDM sound to it coupled with amazing vocals and an epic intro that will leave you wanting more, this is certainly the star of the release.
I might be a bit biased since I’m a big fan of electronic music (Perfume), but this a perfect combination of a mature sound mixed with some epic beats.
The setting might be a bit boring at times, but the touch of having the glowing balls rise and dance alongside them is a perfect subtle touch that left me wanting more.
Day 1 purchase for sure, check out the MV for yourself after the break!

HKT48’s Sashihara Rino has announced the release of a currently untitled PB.

The PB, releasing March 22, will be aimed to show off her mature side, focusing on the “Adult Sashihara”. As she later explained on Twitter one of the pictures she took shows her without underwear, so it seems like she is doing a great job at showcasing a sexier version of herself.
Suffice to say, if you’re a tad young don’t check out the photo after the break because it shows off her … asset.

HKT48’s Ito Raira has announced her graduation from the group.
This was announced at Team KIV’s performance at a recent performance at HKT48 Theater. According to her, she has an interest in studying English abroad and wants to spread the idol culture to the rest of the world.
Her final performance will take place on February 29, so it seems like she is one of the rare instances where we can start planning out her final performance.
As always, please continue supporting her and I definitely hope she has success as she studies abroad. Good luck Ito Raira!
