Yurumerumo! “Mottomo Utsukushii Mono” MV Released

Yurumeru Mottomo Utsukushii Mono

Yurumerumo! have released the MV for Mottomo Utsukushii Mono.

The song is one of the tracks from their 2nd album titled YOU ARE THE WORLD, which will feature a handful of already released songs as well as 8 new songs for fans to enjoy.

Most idol songs have an upbeat sound, but Yurumerumo! went the other route and decided to feature a more haunting beat that is sure to make fans turn their heads. With a looming sound mixed in with an apocalyptic theme, it’s quite the unique theme for a group to use but I am loving the way the video was presented.

Sure, it’s not the type of song that will have you tapping your foot excitedly, but it’s a nice laid back song to listen to on a calming day. The standout is clearly the video since it has the members walking around a desert where they see a rocket shaped cardboard burn as well as some balloons floating in the wind as they walk past a (totally not store bought) flower.

November 11 is the date the single is out, so be on the lookout!

X-21 “Magical☆Kiss” MV Released

X21

The MV for X-21’s Magical☆Kiss has been released.

It will be the theme song for the anime Jewelpet: Magical Change.

As the title of the anime suggests, the song itself has a traditional idol sound that is sure to have you humming for hours. In a way, the MV is a bit reserved with a few dance shots here and there, but it’s still a solid release with the members singing and dancing excitedly while the song plays.

There are a few kisses here and there so that was a cute addition to the title of the song, with a shot of the members writing on a piece of glass being my favorite since it adds a touch of uniqueness.

When will you be able to enjoy this single for yourself? Glad you asked, December 2 is the date so be on the lookout for this single!

E-Girls “Merry x Merry Xmas ★” Single Announced

E-girls

E-Girls have announced the release of a Christmas-themed single titled Merry x Merry Xmas★.

It will be available in three editions: CD-only, One Coin CD, as well as the usual CD+DVD Editions.

The holiday season is slowly looming close so naturally it’s time to break out the Christmas trees, holiday jingles, as well as the red and green decorations and it seems the E-girls are all set with a subtly titled Christmas release.

No preview has been released, but the title alone gives you a good idea of what to expect. Regardless, a preview should be released within this month so stay tuned.

The release date will naturally be close to Christmas, December 23 to be exact so it would be the perfect Christmas gift for those who follow the group!

Kago Ai To Resume Activities In Girls Beat!!

Kago Ai

Kago Ai has announced on her blog that she will be resuming activities with the unit Girls Beat!!

According to her blog, she is honored to be able to work again with the group and she will be announcing when the activities of the group are determined.

As a big fan of Kago since her Morning Musume days, this seems like a perfect announcement since she has had a rocky past with many ups and downs. Seeing her being able to return to the music scene and perform is nothing short of a nice opportunity for fans to enjoy her talents once again.

They will be appearing at the IDOLidge Carnival in TAIPEIevent on December 19 in Taiwan, so if you’re in the area make sure to check out the event!

Namie Amuro “Red Carpet” Single Announced

Namie Amuro has announced the release of her single titled Red Carpet.

  1. Red Carpet
  2. Black Make Up
  3. Red Carpet (Instrumental)
  4. Black Make Up (Instrumental)

According to the description, it appears to be a slight ballad with a warm sound, with the b-side having a more uptempo beat to contrast the main track. The DVD will feature the MV of Red Carpet alongside the Making Of.

With a red ribbon on the covers, it seems like we are in for a solid release from Namie with a pair of songs that cover up a multitude of genres. There is no preview at the moment, but December 2 is the release date, so we will probably find out in a few weeks how the release sounds!

ANGERME “Donden Gaeshi” MV Released

ANGERME Donden Gaeshi

The MV for ANGERME’s Donden Gaeshi has been released.

The MV for Desugita Kuiwa Utarenai was released recently, so I’m glad to see that the other MVs are rapidly being released as well.

As you might remember, this song has a more active theme to it with an anime sound that is hard to ignore. Naturally, the MV as well has a dance with moves that are sure to have fans impressed at their screens as the members sing and perform.

In a way, it’s a bit simplistic since it only features a dance shot alongside a few close-ups, but the video effects add in a nice spice with a few light changes added in for good measure.

UF seems to be working on the visibility of the videos for fans in the US, so those who cannot see it will probably be able to do that shortly. Regardless, the release date is slowly looming close with a November 11 date, so take a look at this impressive MV!

Momoiro Clover Z 3rd and 4th Album Details Released

Momoiro Clover Z Amaranthus

Momoiro Clover Z has released more details about their 3rd and 4th albums titled Amaranthus  and Hakkin no Yoake.

The details were first released at their most recent performance, so I’m glad to see that we have confirmation for the albums with an official website. While we don’t get many details it is important to note that each album will feature two versions: Regular and Limited, with Amaranthus featuring a Blu-ray while Hakkin no Yoake will feature another CD.

It will be fun to see just how the two albums will turn out since not many groups release two albums on the same day. We will see but for now the release date is set for early next year on February 17 so there’s still some time before then.

Arai Manami “Seventeens Blue” PB Cover Released

Arai Minami Seventeens Blue

The cover for Arai Manami’s new PB titled Seventeens Blue has been released.

While most covers usually rely on featuring members in bikinis it certainly is quite refreshing to see a PB that focuses more on other aspects and thankfully Arai’s cover has a more innocent look with her face being the main focus.

Of course, she does seem to be wearing a bikini in the cover but by focusing on her eyes and face it certainly is a good way to promote it to those who are more reserved. The main thing that I would say is kind of iffy would definitely have to be the title since it’s hard to read at a glance.

November 16 is the release date, so just a few more weeks until then!
