Idoling!! member Rena Sato has announced that she will be joining a new idol group.

This announcement comes shortly after the disbandment of the group Idoling!! that happened October 31.

Sato Rena Idol Group

While the disbandment of the group might be a bit disheartening for fans, it’s nice to see that some members are still hoping to continue in the business. Thankfully Rena is one of them, and news of her becoming part of a new idol group has been released.

Not much is known in terms of the members or name, but hopefully we find out a bit more soon since it seems like an amazing chance for her to show off her skills for more time.

According to the timer, we will find out more details on December 24, so it will be a great Christmas for Idoling!! fans!

Natsuki Uchiyama Announces Graduation from AKB48

Natsuki Uchiyama

Natsuki Uchiyama has announced her graduation from AKB48.

The announcement was done on November 1st at the end of their performance at AKB48 Theater. According to her, her dreams were not something she could accomplish as a member of the group so she has decided to leave the group.

Natsuki Uchiyama Graduation

When it rains it pours, and apparently we are getting even more additions to the graduating class of AKB48. Regardless, Natsuki seems to be among the most attentive in the way she handled the announcement. By offering a response on her Google Plus account alongside with a prompt thank you shortly after she has shown that she cares deeply for her fans.

It’s warming to see that kind of care, and while we don’t have that many details as to exactly why she will be leaving it certainly seems like she has goals set for her life and she is aiming highly to accomplish them.

The final performance for Natsuki hasn’t been announced, but we will be on the lookout for any updates. For now, good luck Natsuki Uchiyama, and thank you for your performances!

aiko “Puramai” Single Announced

aiko has announced the release of her new single titled Puramai.

  1. Puramai
  2. Aizu
  3. 4 Byou
  4. Puramai (Instrumental)

With her most recent release earlier this year, it seems like she’s on a roll with yet another release planned for this month. Apart from the date, covers, and tracklist we don’t seem to have any indication of what kind of style she will have with this release so fans will have to wait a bit more until we get a preview.

November 18th is the date of release, but for now those curious about the sound of her singing can check out the MV for her latest single from April after the break.

the peggies “Glider” MV Released

the peggies New Kingom

the peggies have released the MV for their single titled Glider. The track is part of their upcoming album release titled NEW KINGOM.

With a lighthearted rock sound combined with cute vocals alongside a catchy beat, we get to enjoy an interesting video that paired with shots from a drone combine to form a stunning video for fans to enjoy. While I haven’t heard of the band until now I have to say I’m impressed since they have a unique sound compared to other groups nowadays.

The group is fairly fresh on the music scene so make sure to support them with their album which will be released on November 11, so just a few weeks more!

Rei Kobayashi “OVERFLOW” Short MV Released

Rei Kobayashi OVERFLOW

Rei Kobayashi has released the short MV for her solo single titled OVERFLOW.

This is the 4th out of 5 solo songs that Yumemiru Adolescence have planned. The previous being Kyoka’s “Sharkgirl ’99”.

With a more rock driven style, it seems like we get to enjoy a more catchy idol-oriented song with an energetic beat that is sure to impress fans. That combined with her look as she sings and her poses during the slow shots are the perfect additions for the song, despite it having a simple background.

Definitely recommended for fans to watch! Fair warning, the video has been affected by Youtube’s Red Wall so you might need a VPN to watch it if you’re in the US.

tricot “Pork Ginger” MV Released

tricot Pork Ginger

tricot have released the MV for their song titled Pork Ginger.

From what I understand the song hasn’t been released so from the start it seems like an interesting method since not many will be able to get the song.

Regardless, it’s a bonus for fans to enjoy and from what we see it’s a slower song with the members training to jump over a pile of boxes. After gaining the power of golden jumpsuits, they manage to complete the task, with a banana announcing their triumph.

Quite an interesting video so worth a watch, but as mentioned before the song is unreleased so there doesn’t seem to be a release date for now, but check out the MV after the break!

“S/mileage / ANGERME SELECTION ALBUM Taiki Bansei” Covers Released

The covers for ANGERME’s new album titled S/mileage / ANGERME SELECTION ALBUM Taiki Bansei have been released.

There will be three versions: Regular, Limited A with a Blu-ray with MVs and live performances selected by the members, and a Limited B version with a DVD with the full concert for ANGERME’s 2015 “Starting” Live Tour.

New album releases are always fun and this one is no exception. This one seems like it’s a best of album due to the title, but we will find out for sure once the complete tracklist is released.

Regardless the covers are amazing, with a unique theme for each one. Regular features a standard group shot with the members in white dresses. Limited A has a bit more of a grungy look with the members standing around Wada. Limited B is the standout, with the members standing in stylish poses against a white background.

So far I’m loving all of the covers, but I am curious as to why the Limited A and Limited B will be taller than the Regular cover. It might be due to the DVD and Blu-ray included in the release, but we will find out on November 25 when it’s released.

Little Glee Monster To Open For Ariana Grande This December

Little Glee Monster

Little Glee Monster have been selected to open up for Ariana Grande’s upcoming series of concerts in Japan this December.

My Ariana Grande knowledge is close to nothing so there isn’t much to comment on her from my side, but I’m ecstatic to see that Little Glee Monster will get a chance to get some additional promo by being the opening act for the concert.

The dates for the performances are set for December 8 and 9 at Saitama Super Arena so fans of the group and of Ariana are encouraged to attend!

MARIA “Me Gumi no Hito” And “Getchu” MVs Released

MARIA

Two MVs for MARIA’s latest single titled Me Gumi no Hito and the coupling song Getchu have been released.

Me Gumi no Hito features the group’s unique style of rock that sets them apart, and while it might be a sound for everyone I am loving how it looks and sounds since not many idols go the route of old-timey rock with sunglasses and backpacks. Highly recommended if you’re bored of the typical idol groups!

In MARIA’s Getchu we get to enjoy them without their sunglasses for a more upbeat sound with them dancing on a red platform in front of a dark backdrop. Compared to the previous video it’s not exactly the most visually entertaining with only a dance shot, but it’s quite fitting for the song.

It’s been out for a while, specifically October 21, so those who love the MVs won’t have to wait!
