Niji no Conquistador Nemoto Nagi

Niji no Conquistador‘s Nemoto Nagi has released a solo song titled Purity.

This song is a collaboration between her and Mikeneko Homeless as well as Maltine Records who collaborated with her to release Purity as well as another solo song titled Soba ga Tabetai (Nagi Remix) which was released at the start of the year.

Sure, it might not be a full solo single, but the fact that we have Nagi’s talented voice featured alongside such catchy beats is a nice addition for fans of the electronic side of the idol spectrum.

Mikeneko Homeless – Purity feat. Nagi Nemoto (Nijicon)

The song is cool and features a nice calm electronic beat that features a somewhat laid back sound. It won’t be winning any song of the year awards, but it certainly is a good showcase of her talented voice.

I’m completely biased since Nagi is my favorite member from Niji no Conquistador, but these two songs are definitely among my daily rotation to start the morning.

Well worth a look for fans of Niji no Conquistador!

Niji no Conquistador “Senjo no St. Valentine” MV Released

Niji no Conquistador Senjo no St. Valentine

The MV for Niji no Conquistador’s Senjo no St. Valentine has been released.

Out February 11, just in time for St. Valentine’s day and like the title suggests, a perfect fit for the occasion. That depends on your idea of love and if it includes fighting with your rival as you try and win the chance to give your crush some chocolate.

Valentine’s Day in Japan usually involves the girl giving the guy some chocolate, and that seems to be the main point of this MV. The members stand outside to give some chocolate to their crush, only to find themselves in a match to the death with weapons. Overall an interesting concept and one that fans will love.

The song itself is quite impressive, with a catchy beat and a slight disco feel. Definitely one of the best starts for the group since even now I find myself humming the song.

It seems like not much info is known about the single, but we are most likely going to be in for a treat once the release date rolls on by.

Details for Niji no Conquistador’s 1st album titled Rainbow Spectrum have been released.

There will be two versions: Regular and Limited, which will include a DVD with all of the group’s MVs.

Niji no Conquistador have seen some great success in the idol world so far, so this seems like a natural first step so newcomers to the band can enjoy their songs all in one place. Of course, the inclusion of all of their MVs in the Limited edition makes for an amazing chance to enjoy more idol goodness, so definitely consider picking up a copy if you are a fan!

The release date is set for November 3.
