SKE48’s Umemoto Madoka Announces Her Graduation

SKE48 Umemoto Madoka

SKE48’s Umemoto Madoka has announced her graduation from the group.

Ths was announced during their recent performance at the SKE48 theater. According to her, the reason why she is graduating is due to her working on the web sports program that the group offered as well as on Nagoya Grampus. Working in these two convinced her to work in that field and she will be leaving to concentrate on that.

No set date for her graduation has been set, but it’s good to see that she has decided what she would like to do. Of course, she will be missed in the group but having an ambition in life is always a priority so we wish her the best as she moves on.

NECRONOMIDOL “NAYENEZGANI” MV Released

NECRONOMIDOL NAYENEZGANI

NECRONOMIDOL has released the MV for their single titled NAYENEZGANI.

Releasing February 17, this single is as interesting as their first one with a cute concept at first culminating in a dark turn that is sure to have fans of horror movies feeling right at home.

The song itself also reflects that with a strong feeling coming from the more ordered sound as well as a powerful bass line that is sure to have you rocking out.

NECRONOMIDOL are certainly a unique group with a gore aspect that is as interesting as their songs, so it’s well worth a look for those looking for something a bit darker than the usual idol music.

Momoiro Clover Z “WE ARE BORN” MV Released

Momoiro Clover Z We Are Born MV

The MV for Momoiro Clover Z’s WE ARE BORN has been released.

The track is part of their 3rd album titled AMARANTHUS which will be released on February 17.

It seems like just some days ago we got the teasers for the MV, but time flies by quick since we just got the full MV a few days after.

If you’re a fan of idols dressed up as colorful chubby babies then oh boy, are you in for a treat (also why?). To those who are as curious as me then you are certainly in for a treat since we get to see the members dance along to the catchy and laid back beat.

The setting is something out of a painting, and the many scenes they added are certainly unique. From the puppet scenes to the scene where they are giant colorful chubby babies with halos, as well as the slightly My Chemical Romance-esque ending, this MV is just so weird it’s good.

Well worth a look for those who are interested in some weird but quirky idol music!

Afilia Saga “Itsuka Mita Niji no Sono Shita de” MV Released

Afilia Saga Itsuka Mita

Afilia Saga has released the MV for their 16th single Itsuka Mita Niji no Sono Shita de.

Releasing on March 2nd, this will be the last single for Louise Sforzur, Ayami Chercy Snow, and Yukafin Doll, who recently announced their graduation from the group.

Naturally a sad occasion calls for a more slower kind of song, and thankfully it seems like we are getting just that. With a focus on vocals and each member getting a chance to shine.

Of course, the setting is a bit more simple with the members singing out in public with a blurry background. Still, it seems like a fitting occasion and I don’t have much of a complaint about that.

The song itself is quite soulful, but as a result it’s not that upbeat. It’s a perfect way for fans to get to know the members well and to get a final goodbye to the members who have built up the foundation of the group.

Definitely check out the MV since it’s among the group’s most memorable releases!

Kobushi Factory “Chotto Guchoku ni! Chototsu Moshin” MV Released

Kobushi Factory Chotto Guchoku

The MV for Kobushi Factory’s Chotto Guchoku ni! Chototsu Moshin.

The release date is set for February 17, and while the single might be in the running for the longest single title with it being a triple a-side and all it seems like we are in for an amazing time.

The covers were released recently and from them we got an interesting look at the themes they have planned but sadly no actual previews were released.

Thankfully the wait is over!

With a funky beat that has become commonplace for idol groups it seems like the single has quite a solid beat to it. The sound has a tiger growl and the members do an amazing job of singing to match the style.

The white wall that the members run through is interesting since it seems a bit out of place, but I am liking the interesting look.

Definitely an interesting release so make sure to check out the MV!

i☆Ris “Goin’On” MV Released

iRis Goin'on

i☆Ris has released the MV for their song titled Goin’On.

The single will be out on February 17 in two editions, Type A with a DVD and Type B featuring only the CD.

The song will be the theme for the anime PriPara, an idol based anime where girls compete to raise their idol rank. All members of the group voice act for characters in the anime.

i☆Ris are an interesting group. Not only because they feature a unique name that adds them to my official “Stars and hearts in the title” idol groups list, but also due to their unique style.

Idol MVs are basically judged on their dancing at this point, but it’s refreshing to see a group try to do something a bit more different and showcase their songs without forcing a typical idol theme with a dance shot and a group singing shot.

The song itself is quite and comforting to listen to, so fans are in for a nice video with the members singing together.

It’s well worth a look for any fan of the anime as well as a decent idol release!
