NMB48’s Miyuki Watanabe Announced Graduation

NMB48 Miyuki Watanabe

NMB48 has announced that Miyuki Watanabe will be graduating from the group.

The announcement was done at their performance at NMB48 on April 13th. There is no clear date for her graduation set yet.

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like the exact reason for her graduation was released but it seems like she will be remaning in show business. According to fans, she was talking about her graduation at the end of the performance with tearful eyes.

Her decision to leave was apparently made up in December 2015, so it’s been a decision she has thought about for a while. It seems like she does want to leave newer generations have their share of the spotlight so it’s good to see that she is thinking of them.

Best of luck Miyuki Watanabe!

The main standout of the MV is not the music, but instead the MV which is not cut at all and features a continuous take. This is among the hardest shots to do since everything has to be perfect, but thankfully it seems like everything went according to plan.

[Updated] Perfume “FLASH” Full MV Released

Perfume Cosmic Explorer Album

[Updated 4.12: Full MV is up after the break!]

Perfume have released the short MV of their upcoming track titled FLASH.

The song is part of their new album titled COSMIC EXPLORER which will be releasing on April 6th.

The preview might be short and the setting might be literally just a concrete floor and white walls, but the MV manages to show off a side of Perfume that many normally don’t see with a minimalistic look.

The dance, the subtle lines that form here and there as they move, and the beat of the song all combine to form a solid MV that is hard to explain but a treat to enjoy.

It’s a must see for everyone so head over the break and get a copy of the album while you’re at it since Perfume are promising an amazing treat for everyone!

Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku “Nikibi” MV Released

Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku Anarchy Cover A
Type A

Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku have released the MV for their track Nikibi.

The track is part of their 3rd album titled Anarchy and will be releasing April 20th. The album will be released in 3 types:

  • Regular – CD Only
  • Type A – DVD with Ebichu History Medley (20 song single medley) from their Kishidan Banpaku 2015 live
  • Type B  – DVD with Toshiwasure Dai Gakugeikai 2015 live performances

This is the 2nd MV for the album, following the release of the MV for Zette Anarchy a while back.

With a main focus on pimples, it’s naturally not your traditional MV and rightfully so since the song has a tie in with Clearasil. We’ve seen it done multiple time so CM tie ins are nothing new, but it’s interesting to see how they tie in the product to the song.

Heart shaped pimples aside, the song is on the calm side with a distinct folk ballad sound that is perfect for a rainy day or just for relaxing at home. It won’t be winning awards for song of the year, but it’s a cute rendition of something we all go through.

Make sure to check out the CM since it’s certainly a unique one!

SKE48’s Kato Rumi To Graduate

SKE48 Team E Kato Rumi

SKE48 has announced that Team E’s Kato Rumi will be graduating.

The announcement was done at their recent performance at SKE48 Theater. According to her, it was painful to part ways with fans and members of the group, but she has decided to walk a new path. She will remain in the entertainment business.

No final date has been announced for her graduation, but regardless, it’s one of those bitter and sweet moments. Sweet because she will remain in the entertainment business for fans to support and bitter since she will no longer be able to perform as part of SKE48.

Regardless, best of luck Kato Rumi!

NMB48 “Niji no Tsukurikata” MV Released

NMB48 Amagami Hime Cover D
Type D

NMB48 have released the MV for the track Niji no Tsukurikata.

The track is part of the Type D version of the Amagami Hime single for the group, which will be releasing April 27th.

As expected of the title (How to make a rainbow), the song is on the lighthearted, with scenes of Ota Yuuri, Yabushita Shu, Shibuya Nagisa, Sutou Ririka, and Naiki Kokoro dancing alongside the ocean and playing on the fields in the ever so popular seifukus.

The song is laid back, and a bit on the calm side so it won’t be the main standout of the single. But it is the perfect way to start your weekend so make sure to check it out!

  12. You made my day

As expected of the title, the track itself has an EDM styled with a Japanese touch as well as a Ninja theme that is sure to have you watching until the end.

It’s notably more on the lighter side of their music, since the guitars are a bit toned back and instead of full on screaming we get to see the members playfully running away from a group of ninjas (there are a few here and there).

Is this the heaviest track this group has released? No, but it’s a cute way to show off their musical talent with an adorable style and setting, so make sure to check it out!

This is the 1st track to get an MV, with it being part of their upcoming single titled Itoshima Distance / Koi Nara Tokku ni Hajimatteru which will be released on April 27th. The covers were released recently.

With a solid marching styled beat as the members sing alongside to the strong EDM styled instrumental, it’s safe to say that ANGERME are slowly but surely turning into a force to be reckoned with in the idol world.
