AKB48’s Fujimura Natsuki, Yamamamoto Ai, Iwasaki Moeka To Graduate

AKB48 Fujimura Natsuki Yamamoto Ai Iwasaki Oeka

AKB48 Team 8 has announced that Fujimura Natsuki, Yamamoto Ai, and Iwasaki Moeka will be graduating.

This was announced on the group’s Team 8 Kessei 2 Shunen Kinen Tokubetsu Kouen in Okinawa Mensore! Haru no Eight Matsuri concert. Fujimura and Iwasaki have graduated as of April 3rd, with Yamamoto graduating in the coming days.

The announcement was sudden and the fact that the members graduated immediately might be concerning to some but it seems like each member has their goals.

Fujimura mentioned she would like to go to school for hair and make-up, with being part of the group being one of the reasons why she had to leave. Yamamoto recently had her “coming of age” ceremony and thought hard about becoming an actress, and decided to leave in order to become one.

Iwasaki, on the other hand, wants to drop out of the entertainment world and become a doctor, since it’s her childhood dream. Being in both the group and her first-choice school would be too hard so she decided to leave.

While the situation might be sad, it’s good to see that the members all have dreams that they hope to establish, so the best of luck Fujimura, Yamamoto, and Iwasaki!

NMB48 “Ferry” MV Released

NMB48 Amagami Hime Cover A
Type A

NMB48 have released the MV for their song Ferry.

Releasing April 27th as part of their 14th single titled Amagami Hime (which we already got to see a few days ago), this single is gearing up to be a solid one.

In this video we get to see a guy get beat up by the members in a school setting, which might or might not be a good thing depending on your tastes.

Alongside that the song itself has a happy tone and features a catchy sound that is sure to have you swaying along as the poor guy gets rejected over and over again.

It might bring back bitter memories of getting rejected, but the ways they reject him are creative and well worth a look, so make sure to check it out after the break!

BiSH DEADMAN Regular
Regular

BiSH have released the MV for their song DEADMAN.

Releasing May 4th as part of their major debut in Avex, the single will be released in 3 editions: Regular, Music Video Edition, and a Live Edition.

BiSH have done it again! This time instead of seeing them endure trials in a boot camp we in turn see their punk side, and it’s a treat for fans of the genre.

Walking around the streets of Japan at night bashing their bats against video game styled digital walls is one of the main highlights of the video.

Alongside that, the music itself is fast paced and styled in an early fast punk style with Aina’s voice fitting in perfectly.

It’s a must watch for BiSH fans indeed!

Up Up Girls “Seishun no Namida” MV Released

Up Girls Party People Alien Seven Peace Cover Limited B

Up Up Girls have released the MV for their track Seishun no Namida.

The song will be released on April 5th as part of the B edition of their upcoming single titled Party People Alien / Seven ☆ Peace.

The song itself has a ballad feel that isn’t as party heavy as their previous song Party People Alien, and yet, it’s still catchy and showcases the vocals of the members well.

The MV has the members singing from a variety of places around a busy city, with a black and white filter that shows off their passionate singing to fit the lyrics even better.

Songwise, the song has a nice EDM feel to it, with 8-bit coin sounds and a slight Perfume feel that is sure to have fans of the electronic idol genre happy.

NMB48 “Amagami Hime” MV Released

NMB48 Amigami Hime MV

NMB48 have released the MV for their 14th single titled Amagami Hime.

Releasing April 27th, this single will be available in 5 editions:

The MV itself starts off with an interesting tunnel scene, but it soon starts it seems like they went for a unique look that we haven’t seen from them.

Shoplifting, biting, stealing food, and scenes of pill bottles and broken glass fill the MV. In a way it makes me think of Deep Girl, since the imagery is a bit too unlike the traditional idol look with a harsher look at the negative parts of life.

Despite that, it’s an amazing MV that showcases hard subjects that not many groups tackle so it’s well worth a look alone just for that. As for the song itself it’s not the catchiest, but it’s still pretty solid since it has a hopeful ballad sound.

Make sure to check out this interesting MV from NMB48 alongside the tracklists after the break!
