Akishibu Project Otani Emiri Graduation

Otani Emiri has announced her graduation from Akishibu Project.

Announced through Twitter, her graduation date is set for April 17th.

Graduations are sad but it seems like Emiri has her goals set and she is doing her best to fulfill them. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like a reason was given as to why, but we wish Otani Emiri the best of luck!

Akishibu Project “Dear Best Friend” MV Released

Akishibu Project New World

Akishibu Project has released the MV for their track titled Dear Best Friend.

Part of their upcoming album titled NEW WORLD that was released on February 23rd, this song follows the release of their MV Change the World.

As you might remember from the details for the album, this song is a cover of Fukuda Momoyo’s song with the same title. The original song had an R&B feel to it and the MV is faithful to the original.

With the members singing to their heart’s content while they run around a beach in white outfits, the soft vocals match perfectly as they sing alongside each other.

Of course, the song is the main point and it doesn’t disappoint. With a vocal heavy song paired with a soft instrumental, we get to enjoy their voices perfectly alongside a soft piano that melds perfectly with the scene.

Well worth a look for those looking for a relaxing song to start the day!

Akishibu Project “Change The World” MV Released

Akishibu Project NEW WORLD C Cover

The MV for Akishibu Project‘s Change The World has been released.

The track is from their upcoming mini-album titled NEW WORLD which will be released on February 23rd. There will be 8 songs in this jam packed mini-album for everyone to enjoy.

Being well known for fusing the Akihabara and Shibuya culture it’s no surprise to see that they have gone with a rather flashy and cool concept for their cover and I’m definitely a fan. The multiple lights and flashy lights are a nice touch and while I can definitely say that Type B is my favorite of the bunch, it is still nice that they added various looks for fans to enjoy.

So on to the video, with a minimalist look and theme with the members dancing in a white dress in a white hall, a street, and a field. The rock beat in the background helps to show off the style and the electronic touch help make for an upbeat and catchy song that is sure to have you rocking out.

The vocals are a bit messy at times when they’re singing together, but I am a fan of the look of the video so it’s definitely worth checking out for fans of the group!
