BAND-MAID “the non-fiction days” MV Released

BAND-MAID have released the MV for their track titled the non-fiction days.

The track is part of their 3rd mini-album titled Brand NEW MAID which will be releasing May 18th. The album will be available in 2 versions: Type A, which will include the MVs for the non-fiction days, ORDER, as well as alone and Type B, which will include a live version of REAL EXISTENCE.

BAND-MAID are definitely giving their all, and with good timing since they have just completed their visit to the US and London and have unleashed yet another shredding maid masterpiece.

The song itself is solid and features the members singing their hearts out in a beach which soon begins to change as the members sing.

It’s well worth a look since the group is more solid than ever as they slowly make their foothold in the world!

C-ute “Summer Wind” MV Released

C-ute have released the MV for their upcoming single titled Summer Wind.

The track will be released on April 20th as part of their 29th triple A-side single alongside Naze Hito wa Arasoundaro? and Jinsei wa STEP! which we already have seen MVs for.

We’ve seen C-ute tackle a swing sound, as well as a funkier sound, but a traditional mature sound is something we haven’t seen yet … until now.

Summer Wind has an amazing sound, and one that is amplified by the white room setting and the beach scenes. The simple look allows us to focus on the amazing dancing and vocals of the members and minimally shows off just how talented they are.

It’s a mature sound that showcases what C-ute is capable of, so make sure to check it out!

NMB48 “Koi wo Isoge” MV Released

NMB48 have released the MV for Team M’s Koi wo Isoge.

The track will be released on April 27th as Type B of Amagami Hime.

The song itself has a playful tone to it, and it matches the MV perfectly, with the members doing cute and playful things in colorful settings which is a nice change from the other more standard settings the group is used to doing.

While the song might be a tad forgetful, it’s certainly one to watch since the colors show off the bright and fun side of the group!

NMB48 “Hakanai Monogatari” MV Released

NMB48 have released the MV for Team N’s Hakanai Monogatari.

The track is part of the Type A version of Amagami Hime and will be released April 27th.

With a laid back idol sound and scenes of the members walking the streets of Japan, it’s certainly one of those songs that might not impress at first glance but it has a deep catchy sound that is sure to grow on you.

Of course, the addition of the Japanese style to the instrumental is a nice touch, and the members singing along as they walk through the street and share tender moments is one that fans will love.

Well worth a look for fans of the group and slower songs!

Releasing April 27th, this will be the group’s 25th single. This will also be the last single for Tamura Meimi who announced her graduation, as well as the 1st for 4th generation member Kamikokuryo Moe who joined ANGERME recently.

While they might be fairly standard I am surprised to see that Meimi will not be having her own cover. Sure, she is featured in the middle of Regular A so that alone could be enough but having a few more covers to showcase her would have been nice.

Regardless they are a nice mix of covers and ones that show off previews of the soon to come MVs for the single. I’m loving the covers for Itoshima Distance especially since the white outfits suggest a more mature sounding single.

Make sure to get a copy since this seems like a must have for fans of ANGERME!

Yumemiru Adolescence “Oshiete Schrödinger” MV Released

Yumemiru Adolescence have released the MV for their upcoming single titled Oshiete Schrödinger.

Releasing April 27th, the song is one half of their double a-sided single alongside Fantastic Parade which will be available in 7 editions: Regular, Limited, as  well as solo covers for each member.

As the title suggests, the single has a theme relating to the infamous Schrodinger experiment. How can idols and a boxed cats mix? Quite well actually, if the idols are dressed as cats and appear in a nightclub where people come back from the dead to bust some moves.

Is the concept weird? Yes, but the song is cute and has a quirky theme that fans will remember for a long time because of how unique it is. Not many idol MVs exist where you get to see the members dance alongside zombie nightclub patrons.

As for the song itself, it’s somewhat average in terms of idol sounds but it has a solid beat that is sure to please fans and is a must see because of the weird but fun theme.

I love creative MVs and that’s a big part of why idol music is my favorite. We get to enjoy colorful MVs with upbeat songs, and while some might be a bit too repeated I love it when a group such as lyrical school show us something unique.

 

The scenes of the members Facetiming, sending messages, and taking over your phone while tweeting out random photos is something that gets you into the MV (I clicked on a message thinking it was real … not ashamed).

Of course, those without iPhones might be a bit confused by the change in OS, but it’s nonetheless a cute MV with a nice rap beat that could work perfectly as an ad for Apple.

It’s a must see MV, so make sure to check it out on your smartphone (iPhone preferably)!

Sure, the song might be a bit too upbeat, but the energy of the song is just perfect to start the day off with.

Full of color, cuteness, and random scenes that will make your wota heart spin. It’s an MV well worth for fans of fun idols!

Kawashima Umika To Graduate From 9nine

Kawashima Umika has announced her graduation from 9nine.

This was announced at the group’s LIVE 2016 Sakura Cloud9 performance. Her graduation date is set for July 23rd in Nakano Sun Plaza.

According to her, she decided to graduate in order to pursue her dreams as an actress.

While it is a sad occasion, it’s nice to see that she has big plans in mind and plans to showcase her talents in another form apart from singing.
