Juice=Juice has announced that Miyazaki Yuka will be releasing a mini-PB titled Miyazaki Yuka – Greeting Photobook –.

The PB will be based on her Greeting DVD and will be released April 2.

While it might not be a full PB, it seems like a nice way to spotlight and give her some attention (most likely due to a positive reaction to her solo DVD). Of course, not much info is known at the moment but we should be getting this PB in a matter of days (with a bonus photo as well).

Thankfully, the PB is available on CDJapan so fans who want to get one are in luck. Make sure to get your copy since it seems like a great release!

AKB48’s Takahashi Minami To Release 1st Solo Album

AKB48 Takahashi Minami

AKB48’s Takahashi Minami has announced that she will be releasing a currently untitled solo album.

The album will be releasing Fall 2016, and will be the 1st solo release in 3 years. This was announced at the graduation concert she had at Yokohama Stadium.

While we might not have many details about the actual release yet, it seems like an amazing relief for fans who might have been worried that she would not continue her singing career.

Of course, we’ll find out more about this release as time goes by but we have more time until she graduates since her last performance is scheduled for April 8th.

Make sure to get a copy of the album once it’s officially announced!

C-ute “Naze Hito wa Arasoun Darou?” MV Released

C-ute Naze Hito Arasoun Cover Regular

C-ute have released the MV for their song Naze Hito wa Arasoun Darou?

The track is part of their upcoming triple a-side single alongside Summer Wind and Jinsei wa STEP! which will be out on April 20th. The covers and more details were released a few weeks ago.

The song itself has a hopeful message, with a title that means Why Do People Fight? it’s no surprise to see they they went for a slower beat. That, coupled with the flashy dresses and the use of trumpets and soulful background singers results in a unique sounding song.

The instrumental was an interesting choice since it has a nostalgic touch to it that pair perfectly with the setting of the MV to form a vintage look that is sure to please fans of the era.

While I am not a big fan of the sound I have to admit it’s still pretty solid and a perfect entry the group’s song list, mainly due to the opportunity they have to showcase their vocals.

Make sure to check it out since  it’s certainly one of the more interesting MVs from C-ute!

Billie Idle 4 in 1 Official Bootleg Cover

Billie Idle has released the MV for the track titled Douse Kieteshimau Inochi Nara…

Releasing April 6th, this track is part of their upcoming EP titled 4 in 1 “THE OFFICIAL BOOTLEG”. Each member of the group wrote the lyrics for one of the songs:

  1. Kuwaresou  – Momose Momo
  2. Koi no Magical Vibration – First Summer Uika
  3. by – Yasui Yuuhi
  4. Douse Kieteshimau Inochi Nara… featuring First Summer Uika, Kamiya Saki, Tentenko, and Michibayashi Rio – Nozomi Hirano

As a fan of BiS, it was definitely a nice surprise to see Hirano Nozomi in an MV with her former group members Tentenko, Michibayashi Rio, Kamiya Saki, and even First Summer Uika.

Sure, it might only be a slight cameo at first but the fact that they helped out with the vocals as well was a nice touch.

The song itself is on the ballad side with a fun theme: dominoes. Instead of singing and dancing we get to see Nozomi set up dominoes to form an interesting image at the end that is well worth a look for fans of the group.

BABYMETAL “THE ONE” MV Released

BABYMETAL KARATE MV

BABYMETAL have released the live MV for their track THE ONE.

The track itself is part of their upcoming album titled METAL RESISTANCE which will be released on April 1st.

Featuring scenes from the group’s performance at the BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2015 in JAPAN – THE FINAL CHAPTER OF TRILOGY –, this is certainly a small treat of what fans will be in for with their upcoming world tour which will be kicking off in London on April 2.

The song itself is a rock ballad which means that we don’t get a themed MV, but the images of the members singing from a suspended triangle platform are amazing. The slow tone of the song combined with the English lyrics are a must see (with my favorite being the Anubis heads spouting smoke).

Make sure to check out the MV after the break and get a copy of the album while you’re at it, since this is looking like a solid release for fans of this cute metal trio.

TPE48, MNL48, and BNK48 Announced

AKB48 TPE48 MNL48 BNK48

AKB48 has announced the creation of 3 new groups throughout Asia: TPE48 (Taipei), MNL48 (Manila), and BNK48 (Bangkok).

It’s good to note that Taipei’s TPE48 was supposed to start back in Summer 2012, but fans were pleasantly surprised to see that they are finally going active.

AKB48 might be building a small army of idols around Asia or they might be seeking to establish a nation full of nothing but idols. Regardless, I’m happy to see that we will be able to enjoy some nice idol music outside of Japan and that fans in the areas will be able to enjoy the AKB48 style with a local twist.

Of course, no other details have been released other than Mayu being “startled”and that the announcement mentioned that “The 3 overseas groups will sweep the world”.

Prepare to be dominated by idols!

The World Standard, also known as Wa-suta, have released the MV for their song titled Inu Neko. Seishun Massakari.

This track will be part of their upcoming 1st album titled The World Standard which will be releasing May 4th. There will be a Regular version (with a bonus track titled Ima wa Mukashi) alongside a limited edition that will feature the following:

  • Blu-ray/DVD with footage from their 1st solo concert as well as the MVs for Ultra Mirakurukuru Final Ultimate Choco Beam as well as Inu Neki Seishun Massakari
  • Paper dollhouse with cut-outs of the members

Dempagumi.inc Star Shichauze Harudashi MV

Dempagumi.inc has released the MV for their track STAR☆TT Shichauze Harudashi ne.

Releasing April 27, this track will be part of their 3rd major album titled GOGO DEMPA. More details about this album can be found here.

The MV is massive! With a length of 9 minutes, this is certainly on the longer side, but with a theme showing off the group battling monsters while wearing outfits, it’s not that surprising to see that they went all out.

The song itself is catchy, has the same cute vocals the group is well known for. With a steady but fun beat, it’s definitely on the upbeat side so fans of those kinds of songs will be happy for sure.

Visually, there is so much going on so it’s hard to pinpoint only one, but it’s nice to see that they added a credit section with the members dancing and singing while the hard-working staff members are credited.

It might be long, but it’s well worth a look since it’s packed full of fun that is a must-see for fans!

As or the covers themselves, I am loving the look and feel of each one of them, with each one showing off a unique theme that they have.

The main standout would definitely be the main track since the members are all wearing silver dresses with black gloves, but Summer Wind doesn’t fall that far behind with the casual look. Of course, it’s interesting to note that 2 out of the 3 show off a more mature look so we could be looking at an overall more mature sounding release.

Regardless, we’re in for an amazing single, so make sure to get your favorite version reserved since the release date is fast approaching!
