> Akishibu Project party hard in the summer MV for Hola! Hola! Summer

> Matsui Jurina no longer participating in AKB48’s 53rd single

Matsui Jurina recently went on a hiatus due to her poor health. Unfortunately, it seems like her illness might be a bit more difficult than expected and she won’t be taking part in the latest AKB48 single. Full details are available above. Get well soon Jurina!

> Sakidori Hasshinkyoku compete in a summer festival for their Ikomiki Dai Toppa MV

Sakidori are among my favorite idol groups on the scene because of their fun sound and their bright, cheery MVs. Their latest one is no different, showing off the members as they compete along with celebrity impersonators in a series of summer festival events. It’s fun and they end up beating up a rabbit, so make sure to check it out above!

Nogizaka46 are wrapping up the MVs for their latest single with 3 new MVs. In them, we get to see a series of stories unfold. From riding a bus to spend a fun time outside, to being part of a space agency, and performing alongside a kid, it’s all unique and impressive. Enjoy all of them above!

What happens when you go on a bus? If you’re Perfume you end up going into an alternate dimension where you ride alongside some kids and faceless adults. Add in a fun song that has a modern twist, and you have yourself a rather impressive and different Perfume release.

> Yamamoto Sayaka announces her graduation from NMB48

Sayaka has been the face of NMB48 since the start of the group, and not surprisingly she has come to define the group in many ways. However, all good things have to come to an end and it seems like Sayaka has decided to leave the group. More details about her reason why are listed in the post above. We’ll miss you Sayaka!

This week we have Dance For Philosophy and their MV for Live Life. Out August 31st, the single will be a double a-side release alongside It’s my turn.

So, I’ll start off by saying that this MV is not a typical video. In it we get to see the members talk, rehearse for their shows, perform, and go backstage afterwards. It’s a rare look into the work that goes into each performance, and one that fans are sure to appreciate because of the level of detail we get to see.

There’s not much else to say about the MV apart from the fact that it’s a fairly long MV, clocking in at around 7 minutes. However, it’s worth watching it from start to finish to experience the amount of dedication that Dance For Philosophy has for their music.

Impatient? Jump to 1:32 and just listen to the music, I guess.
